Ingredients:
3/4 tsp Baking soda
3/4 tsp Salt
1 3/4 cup Flour
1 Egg
1 tbsp Vanilla
3 tbsp Milk
1 1/4 cup Firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup Crisco shortening
3/4 cup Creamy peanut butter
Directions:
- Heat oven up to 375 degrees F.
- Combine criso, brown, peanut butter, milk and vanilla in large bowl.
- Beat at medium speed of electric mixer up to well blended.
- Add egg; beat just up blended.
- Combine salf, flour, and baking soda.
- Add to creamed mixture at low speed.
- Mix just until blended.
- Drop by heaning teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Flatten slightly in crisscross pattern with tines of fork.
- Bake at 375 degrees F for 7-8 mins or up to set and just beginning to brown.
- Cool 2 mints on cookie sheet.
- Remove cookie to wire rack to cool completely.
- Makes 3 dozen
