Italian Crostata Recipe

Ingredients:
5 tbsp Jam (any kind, I like strawberry or apricot
1 tsp Baking powder
1 2/3 cup Flou
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Butter
2 each Yolk

1/4 cup Granulated sugar
2/3 lb Of ricotta cheese
1 pinch Of salt
1 tbsp Granulated sugar
2 cup Milk
2 Eggs plus 2 extra egg yolks
1 1/2 cup Sifted flour
2 tbsp Butter

Ingredients:
1 pints Fresh strawberries, hulled and crushed
1 tbsp Vanilla extract
1/4 cup Granulated sugar
2/3 lb Of ricotta cheese
1 pinch Of salt
1 tbsp Granulated sugar
2 cup Milk
2 Eggs plus 2 extra egg yolks
1 1/2 cup Sifted flour
2 tbsp Butter
Directions:
- Confectioner's sugar
- Melt butter in top of a double boiler over hot, not boiling water.
- In a bowl. prepare the better by mixing the flour, egg, milk, egg yolks, granutale sugar (1 table spoon), and salt.
- Blend well.
- Prehete a 6 inch skillet or crepe pan and brush it with melted butter.
- Pour in about 3 tbsp of the butter and tilt the pan to spread better over entire bottom.
- Cook on both sides, stack crepes as they are cooked. Menu Buka Puasa
- Cover them with wax paper until the are to be filled.
- To make filling, cream the ricotta with the granulated sugar and vanilla.
- Add strawberries and mix gently.
- Spoon some of the mixture down the center of each crepe and roll up the crape.
- Sprinkle the rolled crepes with confectioner's sugar. Serve 6-8.
